About Me

I believe that teaching is a matter of leading students to successful encounters with their subject and helping them to find their own answers. I am currently a graduate student of Creative Writing, and I hold an AAS degree in veterinary Science. I am a community teacher with a non-profit organization in St. Petersburg, Florida, and have three years experience teaching English as a Second Language to adults and teens, as well as tutoring English and Conversational English. I am also a published author, and have extensive experience teaching writing (creative, technical, and academic), and consulting with authors about their works. Writing is my favorite subject to tutor as it is a personal interest. In my free time I enjoy knitting, painting, spending time with my two big dogs, volunteering with wildlife preservation and rehabilitation causes, and our beautiful beaches.
