About Me

I am currently a graduating senior at The University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I will be receiving my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering this spring. After graduation, I will be pursuing a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering. Before college, I tutored high school students in Algebra and Pre-Calculus. I have a broad range of subjects that I can tutor, as I have earned A's in many different subjects while in high school and throughout my college career. Mathematics, however, is the subject that I am most effective at tutoring, as I have prior tutoring experience in mathematics and my college major relying heavily on mathematics. I believe that every student learns differently and that as a tutor part of my job is to convey information in a way that is tailored to the students learning style. Subjects that are more difficult for a student can be more easily understood, if explained in a way that is best for the student. When I am not studying for classes, I enjoy creating engineering projects, learning new skills, computer programming, and occasionally playing video games.
