Preface

This guide grew out of after-school workshops where students kept asking the same big question: How do I turn curiosity into a real investigation? In these pages, I explain the steps I found most helpful, from choosing a topic to sharing results. I also point out common roadblocks and simple tools that make the process smoother. My hope is that readers feel confident experimenting, reflecting, and revising. Read this preface to understand why the book was written and how the chapters fit together.
