Pre-algebra concepts, geometry, and statistical thinking for seventh grade students.
Geometry lets you describe and measure shapes. Area is how much surface a shape covers. Volume measures how much space is inside a 3D object. Surface area is the total space covering the outside.
For rectangles: \( \text{Area} = \text{length} \times \text{width} \).
For rectangular prisms: \( \text{Volume} = \text{length} \times \text{width} \times \text{height} \).
Add up the areas of all sides. For a box: \( 2lw + 2lh + 2wh \).
Area and volume help when painting walls, filling a pool, or wrapping gifts.
\[A = l \times w\]

Geometry involves calculating area, volume, and surface area to solve real-life space problems.
