Wendy is a highly credentialed educator and scholar with a BA in Industrial Psychology and an MA in Family Counseling from New York, and a PhD in Psychology and World Religion earned in San Diego, California. Before completing her doctorate, she spent several years working in standardized test preparation design — a background that informs her deep understanding of how students learn and how assessments are built.

Wendy tutors across a broad range of subjects, with particular expertise in psychology, sociology, literature, writing, religion, culture, and the arts and humanities. She specializes in essay and thesis editing and works effectively with students in the medical field, supporting preparation for qualifying exams including the IELTS, GRE Psychology, MCAT Psychology, and EPPP. Her teaching style is fully tailored to the individual learner — she assesses each student's pace and abilities and develops a personalized plan so that they can work together as a team toward success.
