WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH

Outcomes, not lecture notes.

01

Identify and apply the core math concepts tested on the DAT, including quantitative reasoning and problem-solving strategies

02

Review the key science content areas — biology, general chemistry, and organic chemistry — as they appear on the DAT

03

Recognize every question format across all four DAT sections and know exactly how to approach each one

04

Apply section-specific test-taking strategies to maximize accuracy and efficiency under timed conditions

05

Develop spatial reasoning skills required for the Perceptual Ability Test, including angle discrimination, form development, and hole punching

06

Use reading comprehension strategies tailored to the DAT's dense scientific passages

07

Build a systematic study approach that targets weak areas and reinforces high-yield content

Christine

Christine is an accomplished scholar and medical student with a distinguished academic background. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Health and Societies with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated as an Honors student and Benjamin Franklin Scholar. Following graduation, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship before beginning medical training. She is currently a Dean's Scholar and MD-MSc candidate at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Christine brings over five years of tutoring and mentorship experience across a wide range of high-stakes academic contexts, including AP Biology, AP Statistics, AP Research, SAT and SAT Biology preparation, the MCAT, and USMLE Step 1. She also guides students through the college and medical school admissions process, with many of her students going on to matriculate into competitive programs. Her teaching approach centers on building a structured, supportive environment where students feel comfortable working through complex ideas and developing strong reasoning skills. She tailors her strategies to each student's individual goals, strengths, and needs, with a particular passion for helping students navigate high-stakes academic milestones with confidence. Her enjoyment of reading and exploring new cultures further enriches her ability to connect with students from a wide range of backgrounds.

ABOUT THIS CLASS

The Dental Admission Test is one of the most demanding standardized exams a pre-dental student will face, covering everything from organic chemistry and biology to perceptual ability and reading comprehension — and this course is built to help you conquer every section of it. Led by an expert DAT instructor, you'll systematically review the math and science content the exam tests, break down every question type, and build the strategic toolkit that separates high scorers from everyone else. This isn't a passive review — you'll learn how to approach each section with purpose, recognize question patterns before they trip you up, and apply targeted techniques under real testing conditions. Whether you're just beginning your DAT prep or looking to sharpen a score that's already in progress, this course gives you the structure, knowledge, and confidence to walk into test day fully prepared.

SYLLABUS

Master Every Section of the DAT — With Strategy, Not Just Study

The Dental Admission Test doesn't reward passive studying — it rewards students who understand exactly what's being tested, how questions are structured, and which strategies to deploy in the moment. This DAT Prep Course is designed from the ground up to give pre-dental students all three: the content knowledge, the question-type familiarity, and the tactical skills to perform at their best on every section of the exam. An expert instructor guides each session, breaking down complex material and making sure nothing on test day catches you off guard.

Science and Math Content You Actually Need to Know

A significant portion of the DAT is a direct test of academic knowledge, and this course makes sure your foundation is solid. Students systematically review the high-yield science and math concepts the exam covers — including biology (cell biology, genetics, anatomy, and physiology), general and organic chemistry, and the quantitative reasoning skills tested in the math section. Rather than re-teaching entire courses, the focus is on exactly what the DAT tests: the concepts that show up repeatedly, the formulas you need at your fingertips, and the scientific reasoning skills that carry you through unfamiliar problems.

Breaking Down Every Question Type

Knowing the content is only half the battle. The DAT uses specific question formats across its four sections — Survey of Natural Sciences, Perceptual Ability, Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Reasoning — and each one has its own logic and optimal approach. This course breaks down each question type in detail so students can recognize what a question is really asking, avoid common traps, and apply the right strategy every time. From the spatial challenges of the Perceptual Ability Test (fold patterns, keyholes, angle ranking) to the dense scientific passages in the Reading Comprehension section, you'll know what to expect and exactly how to handle it.

Strategies That Make a Real Difference

Beyond content review, this course focuses heavily on the test-taking strategies that drive score improvements. Students learn time management techniques for each timed section, methods for eliminating wrong answers efficiently, and approaches for staying accurate under pressure. Section-specific tips and tricks — the kind that come from deep familiarity with how the DAT is constructed — are woven throughout the course so students can apply them immediately in practice and on test day.

Walk Into Test Day Ready

By the end of this course, students have more than a list of reviewed topics — they have a complete, confident approach to the DAT. You'll know the content, understand the format, and have a strategic playbook for every section. For any pre-dental student serious about earning a competitive DAT score and moving forward on the path to dental school, this course is the structured, expert-led preparation that makes the difference.
