ABOUT THIS CLASS

The GMAT 4 Week Prep Class is a focused, high-impact course built for anyone serious about walking into test day with a real strategy — not just a prayer. Over four weeks, students master the structure and scoring logic of the GMAT, then drill into the specific skills that move the needle: critical reading, verbal reasoning, and analytical thinking. You won't just review content — you'll learn how to recognize the traps the GMAT sets and exactly how to sidestep them. By the end of the course, students will know how each section is scored, how to pace themselves under pressure, and how to tackle the toughest questions with confidence. Whether you're targeting a top business program or just want a score that reflects your actual ability, this course gives you the tools to get there.

SYLLABUS

Four Weeks. One Goal: A Higher GMAT Score.

The GMAT isn't just a content test — it's a thinking test. It rewards students who understand how the exam works, not just students who studied hard. The GMAT 4 Week Prep Class is designed around that reality. Over four intensive weeks, students build both the knowledge and the strategic mindset needed to perform at their best, moving through the exam's core skill areas with clear, targeted instruction and plenty of guided practice.

Understanding the Exam From the Inside Out

Before you can beat the GMAT, you have to understand it. The course opens by breaking down exactly how the GMAT is structured — what sections you'll face, how much time you have, and critically, how the adaptive scoring algorithm works. Students learn how the GMAT assigns difficulty, how each question affects your score, and why pacing and question selection strategy matter just as much as raw knowledge. This foundation shapes everything that comes after.

Critical Reading and Verbal Reasoning

A major portion of the course focuses on the verbal skills the GMAT tests most heavily. Students work through critical reading techniques designed to help them process dense passages quickly and accurately — identifying main ideas, author tone, and logical structure without getting lost in the details. Verbal reasoning instruction covers the three question types GMAT test-takers encounter most: Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, and Sentence Correction. For each, students learn not just what to do, but why certain answer choices are wrong — a distinction that separates good scorers from great ones.

Analytical Thinking and Handling Hard Questions

The GMAT regularly serves up questions designed to confuse — problems that look familiar but contain subtle traps, or arguments that seem logical but break down under scrutiny. This course trains students to slow down at the right moments, recognize the structure of difficult questions, and apply a systematic approach rather than guessing. Analytical thinking skills developed here apply across every section of the test and help students stay composed when the questions get hard.

Walking Away Prepared and Confident

By the final week, students will have a clear picture of their strengths, a set of proven strategies for their weakest areas, and a solid understanding of how to approach test day with intention. The goal isn't just familiarity with the material — it's the kind of structured confidence that comes from knowing exactly what to expect and exactly what to do. Students leave with section-specific strategies, a command of exam structure and scoring, and the ability to identify and handle the tricky questions that determine top scores.
