Fun With Phonics

Fun With Phonics is a lively, interactive course that gives early readers the building blocks they need to decode words, build fluency, and fall in love with reading. Students explore letter sounds, short vowels, blending techniques, digraphs, and word families through games, songs, chants, and superhero-themed activities that make every skill stick. Whether your child is just learning to connect letters to sounds or needs practice turning those sounds into real words, this course meets them where they are and moves them forward. By the end, students confidently sound out CVC words, recognize common sight words, and have the tools — and the enthusiasm — to tackle new words on their own.

Letters and Their Sounds Students connect each letter to its sound with songs, chants, and superhero characters, with extra practice on the short vowel sounds a, e, i, o, and u.

Blending Sounds Into Words Students put sounds together to read short words like cat, map, and pin, and break words apart into sounds to help with spelling.

Digraphs and Word Families Students find out that two letters can team up to make one sound, as in sh, ch, th, and wh, and spot patterns in the -at family with mat, pat, and bat.

Sight Words and Story Time Students learn common sight words that don't follow the usual rules and enjoy favorite stories and fairy tales, becoming reading superheroes who can sound out new words.
