About Me

I graduated Columbia University in 2021 and received my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Statistics. While at Columbia, I worked in the chemistry peer help room as a peer tutor for general chemistry and organic chemistry. I was also a teaching assistant for General Chemistry Lab when the course was taught remotely. My passion is helping students learn how to problem solve and think critically. As a scientific researcher, critical thinking is important to learning and understanding what questions to ask. I want to help students overcome their frustrations and help simplify complex topics. A crucial step to this learning process is first finding out what one doesn't know, and then figuring out how to comprehend the unknown. I am excited to tutor a range of STEM subjects and standardized test prep. My belief is that every student learns differently and I will adapt my tutoring to each student's strength and learning style. In my free time, I enjoy running, cooking, and playing competitive ultimate frisbee.
