About Me

My name is Mr. Christie. I worked for 11 years as an English teacher and for 20 years as an Assistant Principal. I went to school in Buffalo at Canisius College and at Buffalo State College. I love teaching English classes especially literature and poetry. I believe that my job is to help you approach reading and writing as a learning opportunity and a teaching opportunity. In other words deciding for yourself what an author is trying to teach you and what you can teach others through your writing.
