About Me

I'm a Charlotte-based attorney licensed to practice law in the states of Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I received my Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to law school, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications from The Ohio State University. Upon graduation from law school in May 2017, I sat for and passed the July 2017 Florida Bar Exam. After practicing in fast-paced Miami for a few years, I decided to relocate to Charlotte, NC. I sat for and passed the February 2020 North Carolina Bar Exam and moved to Charlotte in July 2020. Since then, I've been admitted to practice in South Carolina. While I used a commercial bar prep company to prepare for the Florida Bar Exam, my preparation for the NC Bar Exam was strictly self-taught. I truly believe that it's not about memorizing the information or how high your GPA was in law school but rather how you approach the exam from a strategic standpoint and manage your time that can put you in the best position to pass the exam the first time. Law school professors love to tell their horror stories from their days of preparing for and taking the bar but I want to give students a fresh prospective as someone who recently took them.
