About Me

I graduated from the Institute of World Politics with a MA in Strategic Intelligence and the American University, School of International Service with a BA in International Studies. During my time in school, I tutored undergraduates, and graduates in Korean. I have volunteered to also coach, teach, and converse with diplomats-in-training that are preparing to go abroad to station in South Korea. Having lived in Korea for over 15 years, I went to an international school and earned my IB Diploma Programme in 2016 after completing subjects in English literature (SL), Korean language (HL), Economics (HL), Music (HL), Chemistry and Math (SL). I am very familiar with the Extended Essay and the 2-year IB DP process having gone through them myself. I am a mission-driven, passionate teacher and learner who loves to help others learn. Having emersed in the Korean culture and American culture, I consider myself a global nomad. I am very passionate to teach Korean in both English and only Korean if needed (in grammar, writing, reading comprehension, conversational, and any mix of both practical and academic skills).
