About Me

I'm from Virginia Beach, Virginia. I moved to Florida 6 years ago to be with my now husband. I have a six year old and an eleven month old. I've been a registered nurse since 2006, working in a variety of departments. The bulk of my experience comes from working in the Emergency department for 10+ years. I also have 2 years experience in ICU and Cardiac progressive care. I enjoy taking care of critical patients and I love organized chaos, if there is such a thing. I obtained my Master's degree in nursing education in 2016 but have not pursued teaching until now. It took me a little while to balance work and my personal life. My aspirations are to teach at a college or university. During the early years of my career I taught "nursing care partners," similar to nurses aides in the hospital. For my practicum in nursing education I assisted teaching bachorlette nursing students at Rassmussen College. I'm excited and eager to assist you on your quest for more knowledge. I also obtained my real estate license during the early days of the pandemic and now work part-time in the field. My father is a real estate broker so I've always had an interest and insight into it.....I wish you the best of luck on your journey!
