About Me

Hello! My name is Matthew, and I'm a graduate student in Saint Louis studying Spanish literature and linguistics. In addition to Spanish tutoring, I am excited to work with students in English on their reading comprehension and writing composition. Having worked with everyone from preschool students to adult language learners, I have a great deal of experience helping students of all ages and academic levels achieve their goals. One thing I find to be essential for student success is feeling comfortable enough to make mistakes. It's a completely normal part of the learning process and provides an opportunity to learn in an applied context. I plan on using tutoring sessions to build upon your student's skill set and work consistently towards their goal.
