About Me

I have a life long commitment to education and learning. I enjoy helping other to achieve their goals. I've had a career in the US Air Force after having graduated from the US Air Force Academy with a BS in Humanities. I received my MA in English Literature from San Jose State University after which I taught English Literature and Composition as an adjunct faculty member at a junior college. I received a MS degree in National Security Studies and have traveled extensively. In recent years I've volunteered to teach Citizenship classes to adults and teach English as a Second Language (as I am a certified ESL instructor) on-line to adults around the world. I'm also a volunteer Sunday School teacher for 4th to 6th grade students. I am most passionate about English, Literature, and Composition. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, running, and gardening.
