About Me

I am a graduate of The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and I hold a BA in Latin American Studies and Social Justice. After college, I spent time teaching English in El Salvador, and now hold TESOL certification from NC State University and an MA in TESOL from Greensboro College. I have extensive experience teaching English language learners from a variety of linguistic backgrounds, and I love working with students of all ages. My teaching philosophy is very simple: learning shouldn't be frustrating, it should be fun! I try my hardest to tailor my lessons to all different age levels, abilities, and learning styles.
