About Me

My undergraduate degree is from Florida State University. I majored in Italian and International Affairs, with a concentration in Economics. After working for a non-profit, after graduation, I decided to go to graduate school. I received my M.A. from the University of Virginia in Italian Literature. While at UVA, I taught elementary Italian courses at the university as part of my program. During my time at UVA, I had the opportunity to teach and tutor several undergraduates. I truly developed a passion for helping my students learn and exceed. I ultimately feel the learning process is enabled when a student is comfortable and able to express him or herself. This is the environment I strive to create. I am passionate about tutoring students in English, Italian, literature, public speaking and writing. I have vast experience editing and writing, specifically at the university level. My hobbies include traveling, cooking, reading, working out and spending time with friends and family.
