You are treating a patient in severe respiratory distress from an acute asthma exacerbation. The patient is anxious, has a respiratory rate of 40, and is tripoding. SpO2 is 91% on a non-rebreather mask. Lung sounds reveal diffuse, bilateral wheezing.
