How Do We Use Evidence?
Scientists follow steps to use evidence. You can do this too! Here is how it works.
Three Steps to Be an Earth Detective
- Step 1: Observe. That means look very carefully. Use your eyes! What do you see that is different?
- Step 2: Find evidence. That means find clues. What tells you that a change happened?
- Step 3: Explain. That means tell what happened and WHY. Use your clues to tell the story!
This is what real scientists do! They look, they find clues, and then they explain. You can do it too!
Different Kinds of Changes to Our Earth
