Nadia

Nadia is a seasoned nursing professional and educator with a BSN and MSN from Union University and 40 years of experience in the nursing field. She spent over 20 years in pediatrics, working in neonatal ICU and diabetes care at two large children's hospitals, before transitioning to academia, where she has spent the past eight years teaching nursing to future nurses. Nadia's teaching approach draws on a range of methods including mentoring, coaching, direct instruction with return demonstration, positive feedback, and constructive conversation. She believes deeply that every nurse is both a leader and a teacher, and that as healthcare continues to evolve, the profession needs nurses who are strong in both roles. Her greatest hope is to leave a legacy of passion for nursing that carries forward into a future generation — one dedicated to improved patient and family care, treating the whole person, and upholding the simple but powerful principle of treating others as you would want to be treated.

ABOUT THIS CLASS

The NCLEX-PN Prep Course is built for nursing students and aspiring LPNs who are ready to pass their licensure exam and launch their nursing careers. This course cuts through the anxiety of exam prep by giving you a clear, structured understanding of exactly what the NCLEX-PN tests, how it scores, and what strategies will get you through it efficiently and confidently. You'll work with an expert instructor to master the exam's core content areas, sharpen your clinical reasoning, and develop the test-taking techniques that make the difference between a passing and failing result. Walk into test day knowing the exam inside and out — and walk out ready to practice.

SYLLABUS

Pass the NCLEX-PN. Start Your Nursing Career.

The NCLEX-PN isn't just another exam — it's the gateway to your nursing license and everything that comes with it. This prep course is designed for practical nursing students and candidates who want more than a content review. You'll gain a complete strategic framework for the exam: how it's structured, how it scores, and exactly how to approach every question type it throws at you. The result is a candidate who walks into test day prepared, focused, and ready to perform.

Know the Exam Before You Sit for It

One of the biggest advantages a prepared NCLEX-PN candidate has is understanding how the exam actually works. This course starts there. You'll learn how the computer-adaptive testing format determines question difficulty and what that means for your experience in real time. You'll understand the exam's content areas and how they're weighted, so you know where to focus your energy and what to expect as you move through the test.

Test-Taking Strategy, Applied Section by Section

Content knowledge alone won't pass the NCLEX-PN — you also need to know how to read the questions. The exam is built around clinical scenarios that require you to prioritize, analyze, and reason through patient care situations under pressure. In this course, you'll develop concrete strategies for breaking down complex question stems, identifying what's truly being asked, and systematically eliminating answer choices that don't fit. These aren't generic tips; they're specific techniques your instructor will apply to the actual content areas tested on the exam.

Expert Instruction Tailored to Your Class

Your instructor brings deep familiarity with NCLEX-PN content and knows which concepts demand the most attention. Rather than following a rigid script, they'll calibrate the depth of coverage to match the needs of the students in the room — spending more time where it counts and moving efficiently through areas the class already has a handle on. This responsive approach means you're always working on what matters most for your score.

Time Management and Mental Readiness

Passing the NCLEX-PN also means staying sharp across a variable-length exam that can feel unpredictable. This course addresses pacing directly — how to allocate your time, how to keep moving when a question is tough, and how to avoid the second-guessing spiral that derails otherwise prepared candidates. You'll finish this course not just knowing more, but knowing how to perform under the real conditions of test day.
