As a former elementary school SLP, she loves working with kids on their Spanish language skills and has experience and knowledge to pass on to those studying for their SLP Praxis Exam. As a recent graduate (2018) and graduate assistant at West Chester University, she has experience tutoring at the college level as well (preparing students for the Praxis Core). She enjoys going for walks with her little one and spending time with her extended family.

I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Dallas, where I am simultaneously pursuing a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. I am a graduate of Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) and Louisiana State University at Shreveport (LSUS). I received a Louisiana Transfer Degree in Biological Science from BPCC and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry from LSUS. I played college basketball for the two years I attended BPCC and focused on preparing for medical school while at LSUS. Much of my time in college was spent studying and tutoring friends and classmates in preparation for exams. Many of my friends found that I related course material to them in a more comprehensible way than the professor did, and that the time they spent being tutored was more focused and productive than studying alone. While I tutor a wide range of science course, I am most interested in anatomy, biochemistry, and biology as I enjoy being able to relate the material as it pertains to the human body. I instruct students on utilizing the tools of knowledge, strategy, and execution to excel in taking exams, and believe that these tools can be used to be successful in many different aspects of life. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing basketball, running, lifting weights, and playing pool.
