About Me

I'm a graduate of Arizona State University and Berklee College of Music. After receiving my BA in Music from ASU, I knew that I wanted to experience more of the world, which pushed me into living in Spain for a year where I studied a master's degree at Berklee College of Music's Valencia Campus. Before finally committing to studying music at ASU, however, I spent 2 years studying Electrical Engineering, and it was through my experiences in classes like Differential Equations and Signal Analysis that I learned the importance of a good teacher who truly wants to see you succeed. My experience in these different fields have shown me the importance of receiving a well-rounded education, and with my students, I always try to make cross-disciplinary connections. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I'm most passionate about music and Spanish. For me, learning to play an instrument or to speak a new language are the things that allows us to connect with others as part of the fundamental human experience. In my spare time, I enjoy learning languages, playing video games, and traveling.
