About Me

I am a graduate of Regent University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Elementary Education and have a license to teach pre-K through 6th grade. Since graduation, I have been teaching in Virginia, and have also led tutoring groups and extracurricular clubs outside of normal classroom hours. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math, English, Literature and History. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, we always seem to have the most fun prepping for the Critical Reading and Writing and tackling the word problem portions of the exams. I am also a big proponent of learning math from all angles. Each student has their own learning style, and the great thing about math is that you can approach it from many different ways. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.
