About Me

I am a certified Special Education teacher with 23 years of experience. I believe all students can learn. I have a BA in sociology from UNCP and I have a master's degree in teaching reading from Cambridge College. Currently, I teach 6th grade math and Math Essentials. I am highly qualified to teach math k-6 and reading k-12. I also am qualified to tutor in other subjects such as Science and Social Studies. I understand that different people learn in different ways therefore differentiation during instruction is a strength for me. I am passionate about progress.
