About Me

I am a fun, creative, dedicated teacher with over 26 years of teaching experience in a classroom and 6 years of experience with virtual learning. I am currently teaching up to 20 students in my classroom in an elementary school. I am a graduate of Indiana University East with a Bachelor's degree in General Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education, Arts and Humanities where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and a current student of Indiana Wesleyan University working toward a master in Early Childhood Education. I am licensed for Reading, Social Studies, Math, Science in Pre k- 3rd grades. I have experience and skills in classroom management, early reading, writing, math, art, music, science, social studies, behavior modification, and social/emotional needs. I can teach small and large groups, IEPs, ADHD, ADD, and provide individualized support. I love to inspire all students to do their personal best and thrive on all of their successes, big and small. I love art, nature, and music and will incorporate them into learning at times to keep children engaged and ready to learn. My goal is to develop minds and inspire a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
