About Me

I am a graduate of Lebanon Valley College, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Music Education and my Bachelor of Arts in Music, with concentrations in French Horn performance and Music Theory/Composition. Since graduation, I have been teaching music in Harford County, Maryland, both in the public school system and as a private lesson instructor. I am most passionate about helping students discover themselves within and learn to express emotions through music. I also love music theory, especially chordal analysis, and it's ability to help students better understand what it is they are singing and playing. I love what music can do to improve lives and am a big proponent in teaching social-emotional strategies in the musical context.
