About Me

I am a graduate of Shippensburg University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education, and of Walden University where I earned my Master of Science in Education with a focus on content-area literacy. Since 2000, I have worked as an English Language Arts educator with middle and high school students, and I have tutored students at both levels in reading, composition, and SAT or ACT preparation. I have also edited and proofread college application essays for international students looking to attend exclusive, private universities in the United States. I focus a great deal on composition, content-area literacy and comprehension, reading fiction and non-fiction literature, creative writing, and preparation for skills demonstration on standardized tests.
