About Me

I am a graduate of Clemson University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Athletic Leadership. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively, teaching elementary through high school students at public and international schools in Southeast Asia; adults and university students looking to strengthen their academic or business English in Ho Chi Minh City (as I am a certified ESL instructor); and one-on-one private clients across a range of age and skill levels throughout Vietnam. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about teaching English, Psychology, Math, Social Studies, and History. Patience and building a strong rapport with my students are essential characteristics for any teacher, I pride myself in having endless patience and a laid-back attitude that allows me to build a rewarding and engaging relationship with my students. I have seen the power and importance of education, believing it to be essential for opening opportunities and improving quality of life across the globe. Inclusion, collaboration, and empathy have always been key components of my teaching philosophy.
