About Me

I am a graduate of William Paterson University and Grand Canyon University. I received my Bachelors of Arts in English literacy and I received my Masters degree in Elementary Ed. Focused in K-6. After graduating with my bachelors degree I joined a program called City year where I tutored 5th grader scholars reading, math, science, social studies and writing in New York City. After learning how much I loved teaching students I joined a school in New York. Where I taught for five years in Kindergarten, 1st grade, And 4th grade. During my fifth and sixth year of teaching I received my Masters degree in elementary education and moved to Florida. I am most passionate about teaching my students how to read and comprehend stories. I believe reading is fundamental! We can learn a lot about life by reading many different books. When tutoring, I believe that teaching to the student's learning style is very important because that's how they will interpret the lesson that you are teaching them. In my spare time, I love to hang out with my family, Traveling, going to the beach and reading books.
