About Me

I am a graduate student of the University of Virginia with my Masters in Science of Nursing (MSN) and received my Bachelor's in Science of Nursing at York College of Pennsylvania. I have led study sessions with my peers during school and in my professional career I have helped teach and orient numerous co-workers. I have also taught co-workers of other units how to use mechanical devices, ACLS, BLS and IV drip maintenance. I also help my sister and her friends with proofreading their college papers and have done so since she was in high school. I am extremely passionate about teaching because I think it is important to spread knowledge and cultivate a learning-rich environment. The moment when the lightbulb goes off is something I crave! While I tutor creative writing, reading comprehension and martial arts, I am most passionate about nursing, anatomy and physiology. I have also passed the NCLEX and ANCC test for my Nurse Practitioner certification. Although learning can be stressful, I try to construct a laid-back, fun and easy to learn environment for my students. The best kind of learning happens when you are relaxed and can be yourself.
