About Me

I have always loved chemistry. I have had the great fortune to have had teachers in high school and professors in college who made the subject enlightening and enjoyable. My experiences with those teachers led me to want to become a teacher myself. I graduated at the top of my class from Carthage College with aBachelors of Science in Chemistry, and went on to procure a Masters in Teaching from the University of Louisville. I taught chemistry full time at Oldham High School outside of Louisville Kentucky, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I am really looking forward to the opportunity of one on one tutoring and helping students understand that chemistry is something to be enjoyed, not to be feared.
