About Me

I am a graduate of The University of Arizona where I earned my B.A in Mathematics and a B.S. in Computer Science. I am a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at Brown University, where I earned my M.S. in Applied Mathematics. I have five years of tutoring experience in both math and computer science, as well as teaching experience at the college level. Tutoring/teaching has always been my passion. Seeing a student grasp a concept they had struggled with is immensely rewarding. In my approach to tutoring, I try to constantly respond to feedback from my students. If the way I am explaining something isn't clicking, I try to come at it from a different angle. I believe everyone can excel in mathematics, and through tutoring I hope to help as many students as I can reach their educational goals. Outside of academic interests, I love cooking, reading about politics, and watching horror movies! Hobbies: writing, reading, cooking, music, art, movies, books
