About Me

I am a 30 year member of Sigma Theta Tau. I have been practicing professional nursing for over 40 years, 30 as an FNP. I have taught nursing school in most subjects, and I have been a Certified Diabetes Educator, CDCES, for 20 years. I have practiced for years in the rural "Indian Country" of the desert Southwest seeing pathology that we only saw in textbooks. Hantavirus, neurosyphilis, Potts Disease, plague, are quite real and I have seen and treated them all. I recently diagnosed a brain tumor in a virtual appointment. I embrace life long learning, and want to instill that passion to younger people so that they may grow stronger. I partner with my wife of 38 years who I met in nursing school Lynne Grinold BSN, RN-BC, CDCES, IBCLC. We have 84 years of combined nursing experience. There is not much that we have not dealt with, including covid. We would love to share our knowledge and test taking strategies with you. Hobbies: art, books, writing, reading, music
