About Me

I'm Dana and I am a NYS licensed medical microbiologist and an ASCP certified technologist in microbiology. As a medical microbiologist, I work in the clinical laboratory to diagnose patients with infectious diseases. I have my bachelors in forensic science with a minor in chemistry. I also have my masters in microbiology and infectious diseases, where I completed an experimental research thesis. I was an adjunct professor while completing my masters, teaching undergraduate microbiology lab. I have a great passion for what I do and I love teaching others microbiology!
