About Me

I'm a board certified family nurse practitioner who has worked in both women's health and urgent care. I have been a registered nurse for over 7 years and as a nurse, have worked in critical care and in the operating room. I graduated with my bachelors of science in nursing from University of California, Irvine and my masters of science in nursing with a post masters certificate in education from California State University, Long Beach. I have been a preceptor for nurses in the hospital setting and most recently for a physician assistant in women's health clinic. I have worked with undergraduate students in their critical care rotation at the hospital, where I was a student clinical instructor. I was also a guest lecturer for pharmacology at UC Irvine. I truly enjoy working with students- especially with nursing students, as in my experience I have found that they are hard working and determined to succeed. I want to assist my students in identifying their strengths and weaknesses in their studies, improve on those areas in which they are deficient, and help them to approach their board exam with confidence!
