About Me

I am graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana with a degree in Social Studies Education. After graduation, I moved to San Antonio to start my career as a teacher. I have been a certified teacher for 15 years. After 10 years as a full time teacher and getting my Masters Degree in Education Administration, I embarked on a new journey and became an instructional coach. This is the position I have held for the last 5 years. I work with my fellow teachers on improving the quality of instruction and increasing student achievement. I firmly believe that all students can be successful and it is our job as teachers, tutors, etc. to figure out how to help students be successful. In my free time, I enjoy trying out new recipes, reading and exploring San Antonio and the surrounding areas. I also love trips to the beach.
