About Me

I am an honors graduate of Lawrence University, where I majored in French and Francophone Studies and minored in International Relations. Passionate about cultural history and the arts, my papers on global dance theory, education, and criticism have been featured at regional conferences and earned several awards for excellence in writing style. Upon graduation from Lawrence, I taught English at an arts magnet high school in Nantes, France. Now back in the United States, I work full time for Oceana, the largest international organization devoted solely to ocean conservation. Throughout my life, I have made a point to work with students of all levels and ages in a variety of subjects - tutoring French and writing at various schools from Wisconsin to Florida and back again.
