About Me

I am a graduate from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Since graduation, I have been working as a Research Associate in the Emergency Department in the Hackensack Medical Center, where I enroll patients in public health studies. I tutor all the hard sciences as well as English and reading comprehension. While my degree is in Biology, I have a deep respect for all fields encompassed within the STEM learning. I also weigh equal importance in writing and reading. I also tutor for standardized tests such as the ACT and SAT. I believe that a student should be well versed in all of these subject manners to excel in their future schooling as well as further on in their careers. I try to tutor my students in such a manner. Not only do I tutor my students in their immediate schoolwork, but also in what is coming ahead, by telling them of my past experiences. While it is important for students to have a solid foundation of what they are learning, they also need to understand what it will be used for and what is coming ahead. In my spare time, I like to unwind by exercising, watching sports, and hiking.
