About Me

Hello! I teach Statistics and History, and have two Masters degrees from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, an M.B.A. and M.A. I have extensive tutoring and classroom teaching experience at Webster University and Southwestern Illinois College (Belleville).When I teach Statistics I guide the student through various practice problems that are based on real world business scenarios. By the time we are finished, the student will have an intuitive feel for the concepts and will know which formula to apply to any given problem. When teaching History, the focus will always be on the big picture. Once the student understands the larger concepts, the names and the dates will fall into place. My hobbies include Cardinal's Baseball, guitar, literature and walking my dog. In short, my philosophy is make it real, make it fun.
