About Me

I received a BA in History and Spanish from the University of Texas, and I am in the final stages (finishing my thesis) of an MA from George Washington University. My specialization is medieval Iberia, which was a complex mosaic of religion, politics, and war. But my passion for history is widespread. In addition to expertise in medieval Europe in general, I am well-versed in early modern European and American history (such as the Reformation, the Renaissance, and Colonization) and more recent American History. I am also proficient in Spanish, and I can supplement any high school Spanish course. My experience in the humanities also covers Linguistics, Sociology, Literature, and Writing. I believe History and Language are important aspects of a complete education and can be fun in the right hands.
