University of St Thomas

Founded in 1885 by Archbishop John Ireland, the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, began as a seminary and evolved into a comprehensive private Catholic institution sponsored by the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
