About Me

I am an educator and mom of 3 from Pennsylvania. I have been volunteering and working in the field of education for about 16 years now. I have a genuine love for learning and passion for teaching! I graduated from Florida State University with my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Special Education. I am also a certified teacher in Florida and Pennsylvania. I spent 6 years working in a Special Needs school as a job coach, substitute teacher and both an elementary and secondary classroom teacher. I have also taught ESL online for the past 4 years and have my TESOL Certification. My goal when teaching or learning is always to have fun. I try to come up with exciting and engaging ways to motivate students and keep their attention. I include music, games, videos and movement in my lessons whenever possible! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outside, exercising, cooking, dancing and listening to music.
