About Me

I am a certified and licensed Elementary Grades educator with a combined over 23 years' experience working in classrooms in USA, Australia, Jamaica and online. I possess a Bachelor of Arts degree from Coppin State University in Elementary Education, Master's degree from The Loyola University of Maryland in Instructional Technology and completed graduate programs at Notre Dame of Maryland and Loyola University of Maryland Universities for Advanced Studies in Education with a focus on Educational Leadership, as well as certification from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors. I am a certified Elementary Grades Educator and Special Educator (Infant-Adult). While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Literacy, that is Reading, Writing, Comprehension. I have extensive experience in and utilize a student-cantered/focused approach to teaching, possessing a strong commitment to the development of my learners and providing a stimulating, safe and motivating learning environment.
