About Me

I am a student at Wheaton College in IL studying philosophy and theology. From middle school through high school, I have participated in various tutoring programs to help students in areas like Algebra, English, ACT prep, and paper editing. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about helping students improve their writing and comprehension skills. In my experience, helping a student expand their vocabulary and understanding of grammar can be the single most effective step to improving their performance in standardized tests and school overall. I believe a good educator will take the time to understand how the mind of their student works; I tailor my lesson plans and explanations in such a way that the student's strengths are maximized and their natural curiosity is peaked. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, going on solo walks, and playing Monopoly with my four younger siblings.
