About Me

I am a dancer and educator with over 20 years of experience performing, choreographing, teaching and facilitating dance. My passion is creating safe learning environments for social and emotional development through dance, music, storytelling and play. I received my Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts; and spent a semester abroad studying dance and theater in Arezzo, Italy at the Accademia dell'Arte. Since graduation, I have been traveling the world researching the fundamentals of dance and movement. I am an avid practitioner of martial arts, specifically Kung Fu, and have been studying yoga and meditation since 2007. My mission is to facilitate dance and movement for self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. I am also an online English teacher and tutor in Reading, Writing, and ESL with over 4 years of experience tutoring students in grades elementary through middle school. When I'm not teaching, you can find me hiking in the mountains, camping under the stars, or traveling the world!
