About Me

Dr. Michael Dennehy is a Cybersecurity Architect Director for SCI Corp, based out of Houston, TX. Additionally, he is an Associate Professor at North Carolina State University. He has over 29 years of IT and Cybersecurity experience and has worked with Cloud application and infrastructure security for over five years. He has worked for several large companies, including IBM, Microsoft, PwC, and Change Healthcare. He holds a doctorate in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity. an M.S. in Cybersecurity from the Univ of South Florida & an M.S. in Software Engineering from RIT. He conducted his doctoral research on Insider Threats and is considered an expert in the field. He also holds several active certifications, including CISSP, CCSP, CISM, PMP, Security+, CASP+, CySA+, Pentest+ and CISA.
