About Me

I have tutored in entry level financial/managerial accounting subjects (Accounting 100 and 101) as a paid position in my alma matter, Prince Georges Community College (PGCC), where I received an associate degree in accounting. Through my early education years, I have also patiently taught algebra to fellow classmates who found it difficult to understand the concepts. In my experience, helping students prepare for exams has been a blessing because when the goal is achieved, we see progress in their lives. I have a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park. I also have a Masters of Science (MS) in accounting with a focus on Internal Auditing. Since my graduation, I have worked extensively in the field of accounting mostly in the federal government financial management space where accounting principles are applied based on government laws, regulations and requirements. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and being a source of help to others. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tutor you in these subjects.
