About Me

I am a life-long learner. I have three (3) University degrees in a variety of subjects. I have a BA degree from The Florida State University (F.S.U.) in Psychology with a minor in French. I also have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Management (F.S.U.) . My third degree is a MA in Counselor Education from The University of Central Florida. I have a love of learning and a love for understanding, encouraging and helping people. I spent over 11 years in the University setting learning about things I am passionate about...working with, helping and understanding what motivates people. I have taught many subjects through a private primary and middle school in Orlando, Florida. These subjects include English, History, Science, Physical Education, wellness, math, art and more. I homeschooled my two children from 5th to 11th grade and I volunteer to teach and support a group of high school girls once a week during the pandemic. I have a passion for learning and a passion for teaching. I feel that all of my experience and education has led me to become a teacher and share all that I have learned and experienced. I have worked as an ESL teacher for the last year and I loved every minute of it. I especially love teaching students struggling with their confidence in any subject. I am an encourager, and I believe that learning should be fun! I also believe that if I can accomplish all that I have done in my life...so can you! I can't wait to meet you in the classroom.
