About Me

I am certified to teach Early Childhood through 6th Grade. Since graduating, I have taught 1st Grade for 3 years. At this school, I taught English Language Arts and Reading, as we were departmentalized. I also had the honor of receiving the Teacher of the Year award! Then in 2017, my husband and I moved to Okinawa, Japan where I taught 3rd Grade for just over 3 years on a military base. There in Okinawa, I was the team leader of 10 Third Grade teachers and I taught all subjects: Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and Health. I was also an after-school Art Teacher, because why not!
