About Me

I'm most passionate about literacy development. I believe that reading skills allow learners to interact with the world in new and meaningful ways. As a doctoral student, I'm currently involved in a tele-educational research project that explores flexible teaching practices. Moreover, as a homeschool dad, I've spent a significant amount of time and energy on early reading skills with my young children. Above all, my guiding philosophy is "If a student doesn't learn the way you teach, you teach the way they learn".
